Dami Park is a senior foreign attorney in the international arbitration and cross-border litigation/construction and engineering disputes practices at Kim & Chang. With extensive experience in the field, she has served as counsel in international construction and commercial arbitration cases under various international arbitration rules, such as the ICC, SIAC, UNCITRAL and KCAB, as well as ad hoc arbitrations, including a high-profile US$8.4 billion International Chamber of Commerce arbitration involving an offshore gas pipeline project. Her expertise extends to advising on both contentious and non-contentious issues concerning power projects located in various jurisdictions, such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, India, South Africa and Vietnam. She is also serving as a council member of the Society of Construction Law in Korea, showcasing her commitment to professional development and staying up to date with the latest trends in the field.
Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Ms Park worked as in-house counsel for an extended period, where she accumulated her expertise in the construction and energy industries. She has a deep understanding of the legal complexities and challenges faced by companies in these sectors.
She also advises on various outbound and regulatory issues for Korean clients, assisting them with investments and product distribution in multiple jurisdictions.
