Cristina Cortes is an expert in litigation and arbitration and has collaborated with the litigation and arbitration, corporate, and public law departments at Pérez-Llorca. Cristina joined the litigation and arbitration department in September 2006 after doing an LLM in International Legal Practice at the Instituto de Empresa Business School. Cristina is a member of the Madrid bar and speaks Spanish, English and French.Cristina's practice is focused on civil and commercial litigation. She has advised both national and international companies in pre-litigious and litigious matters (before tribunals of all instances) and has participated in national and international arbitrations of a commercial nature.Her experience encompasses, among others, disputes related to construction, derivatives, company law, credit facilities, energy, telecommunications, real estate, state investment, civil liability and all types of contractual disputes. Cristina regularly contributes articles to the business and legal press.
