Colin Johnson is a partner with HKA in London. He specialises in the assessment of damages and complex valuation issues in litigation and international arbitration contexts as well as in relation to certain financial issues. He has many years of experience in relation to large projects, particularly in the energy sector, and in matters involving breaches of contract, investment treaty claims, transaction-related disputes, and shareholder and joint venture disputes. He has provided valuation, finance, accounting or damages assessment services in more than 50 disputes worth more than US$70 billion in total, and has testified more than 20 times.

Colin is recognised as a leading expert witness by Who’s Who Legal for arbitration, commercial litigation, energy, construction-quantum delay and technical, financial advisory and valuation-quantum of damages, and brings his extensive transactional, financial, investor and corporate expertise into his work as an expert. Colin has testified on matters including before ICSID, ICC, LCIA, LMAA, UNCITRAL, English, Scottish and Spanish courts.
