Catarina Carvalho Cunha is a managing associate with the firm’s litigation and arbitration practice. Her work is focused on assisting and representing clients on matters linked to civil and commercial litigation, international and national commercial arbitration, and corporate restructuring and insolvency.
Catarina advises clients involved in disputes in Portugal as well as the Portuguese-speaking jurisdictions of Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Cape Verde and East Timor. Catarina’s work also extends to OHADA jurisdictions, such as the Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon.
She has advised several clients in the oil and gas, shipping, aviation, hotel management and telecommunications sectors, among others.
Catarina holds a degree in law from the Portuguese Catholic University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law, and has attended a postgraduate course on energy law administered by the same faculty.
