Carlos leads the projects, energy and infrastructure and the litigation and arbitration practice areas at DLA Piper Pizarro Botto Escobar. He specialises in giving legal advice for the development and execution of public infrastructure carried out under public-private partnerships or by means of traditional public works. He also focuses his practice in construction law, government contracting and arbitration within these areas. He is an active member of the list of arbitrators of the Lima Chamber of Commerce Dispute Settlement Centre.Carlos obtained his law degree with distinctions at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) in Lima and later obtained a master's degree (LLM) at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, focused on international business transactions, foreign investment and project finance. He also graduated with distinction from Escuela Superior de Administracion de Negocios (ESAN) in Lima where he pursued postgraduate studies in finance.
