[email protected]Audley Sheppard KC is a consultant in the London office of Clifford Chance LLP. He was formerly global co-head of the firm’s international arbitration group. He has over 35 years’ experience in the resolution of disputes arising out of major infrastructure and energy projects and international trade and investments, as counsel and arbitrator. He is a frequent speaker and writer on investment protection issues. Until 2023, he was chairman of the LCIA Board. He chairs the Advisory Council of the School of International Arbitration, Queen Mary, University of London, is on the governing board of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration, is on the advisory board of the Lauterpacht Centre, Cambridge, and of BIICL's Investment Treaty Forum. Audley has been a vice-president of the LCIA Court and a member of the ICC Court of Arbitration, co-chair of the IBA arbitration committee and rapporteur of the ILA arbitration committee. He has degrees from Victoria University of Wellington, NZ (LLB (Hons) and B Comm) and the University of Cambridge, UK (LLM).
