Patrícia S Kobayashi is a lawyer and has been the deputy general secretary of the CAM-CCBC since 2012. She holds a law de-gree from the University of São Paulo and has extensive experience in arbitration as an attorney and case manager, as well as experiences as secretary of arbitral tribunals. She contributed as a researcher to the first arbitration-related survey on judicial deci-sions, conducted in 2007 by the Brazilian Arbitration Committee and Fundação Getúlio Vargas. She has published articles on the impartiality of arbitrators and challenges; arbitral letter; and arbitration clauses, and she is also regularly invited to give lectures in arbitration programmes such as those of the Lawyers Association of São Paulo and PUC-SP (Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo).
Ms Kobayashi is member of the Brazilian Bar (São Paulo) and organisations such as: the Brazilian Arbitration Committee; the International Council for Commercial Arbitration; and the International Bar Association.
