Hilary Heilbron QC is a barrister and Queen’s Counsel practising as both an advo-cate and an international arbitrator from Brick Court Chambers, London. She has extensive experience as counsel both in major international arbitrations, and in commercial- and arbitration-related litigation, and has acted for a wide range of na-tional and international clients. She has appeared as leading counsel in the Supreme Court, House of Lords and Privy Council. She also sits regularly as an international arbitrator in both the UK and many other jurisdictions as party-nominated, chair and sole arbitrator. She is currently a member of the LCIA Court, the UK ICC commit-tee for arbitration and ADR; the international advisory committee of the ICDR; and the ICCA-ASIL Task Force on Damages, as well as being on the panel of several arbitral institutions. She has spoken and written extensively on international arbitra-tion and cross-border litigation around the world and is the author of A Practical Guide to International Arbitration in London (Informa Law 2008).
