Philippe Pinsolle is head of international arbitration for continental Europe at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan and based in Geneva. He has acted as counsel in more than 200 international arbitrations, with a particular focus on investor–state arbitrations and commercial disputes involving energy, power, oil and gas, and ma-jor infrastructure projects. He has been involved in arbitrations under the aegis of all the major arbitration institutions. Philippe Pinsolle has served as arbitrator (par-ty-appointed or chair) in more than 45 cases, as well as an expert witness on several occasions. He is co-editor in chief of The Paris Journal of International Arbitra-tion/Cahiers de l’ Arbitrage, a leading French publication in the field of arbitration.
