Gina Gheorghe has acted as counsel in arbitral proceedings before the ICC Paris in matters of business law, real estate, company law, construction law (including FIDIC), as well as in DAB procedures.
Ms Gheorghe also specialises in international investment and multi-disciplinary cooperation projects, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and cooperation for reaching complex mutual targets, usually involving the concurrent application of several legal systems, as well as in international transaction financing where she extensively uses her double background in both law and economics.
Ms Gheorghe graduated from the Faculty of International Business and Economics, International Transactions Section, Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest. Ms Gheorghe has also completed advanced studies in intra-European transactions at the Faculty of International Business and Economics of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and holds a double diploma from the Pantheon Sorbonne University of Paris 1 and the Faculty of Law from the University of Bucharest after graduating from the French Romanian Institute of International Business Law and Cooperation (LLM).
She is fluent in Romanian and English and has a good command of French and Italian and basic grasp of Russian.
