Samuel Vermeulen is a senior associate in De Brauw’s dedicated litigation and arbitration group. He has represented states and large corporates in court proceedings and arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, UNCITRAL, DIS and the Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI). He has particular experience in handling disputes related to investment treaties, construction and public procurement law and post-M&A. Before joining the litigation & arbitration practice, Samuel was with De Brauw’s corporate team and advised on M&A and equity capital markets transactions. Samuel holds degrees from the Radboud University Nijmegen (LLB and MA) and the University of Cambridge (LLM). He is admitted to the bar of Amsterdam.
