Lauren Sweet is an associate in O’Melveny’s London office and a member of the Business Trial & Litigation Practice. Her practice focuses on cross-border dispute resolution, particularly international arbitration and complex High Court litigation.
Lauren has represented clients in numerous international arbitrations under a variety of institutional rules, including acting for one of the world’s largest online gaming software providers in a dispute with three licensees, resulting in four consolidated arbitrations conducted under the World Intellectual Property Organization Expedited Arbitration Rules. She recently represented a major private equity firm in an LCIA arbitration regarding an investment in Montenegro.
Lauren also advises clients in multinational organisations in the oil and gas sector on the territorial scope and effect of European Union economic sanctions concerning Iran, Libya and Syria.
