Morten Schwartz Nielsen is a partner and attorney at law at Lund Elmer Sandager LLP in Copenhagen, Denmark, with the right of audience before the Supreme Court of Denmark.
Morten Schwartz Nielsen works with corporate matters, including, in particular, litigation and arbitration, and has frequent appearances in court in civil cases as well as in arbitration proceedings. Further, Morten works with corporate law, M&A and financial law, especially leasing, where he is recognised as one of the leading experts in Denmark and has written a legal textbook. Currently, Morten Schwartz Nielsen is working on a textbook regarding the procedure for recovering outstanding debt.
Furthermore, Morten Schwartz Nielsen is part of the management of Lund Elmer Sandager LLP, with a keen interest in business development and business processes.
Morten is also appointed to the Danish Bar and Law Society Committee on procedural law, is a former president of the Danish Association of Attorneys and Assistant Attorneys and a former vice president of the European Young Bar Association. He taught at the University of Copenhagen between 2004 and 2010 in the field of the Law of Obligations and Danish Procedural Law, and at the University of Southern Denmark in international trade law dispute resolution since 2007.
