Andrey Panov is a senior associate practicing international arbitration out of the Moscow office of Fulbright. He has represented Russian and foreign clients in numerous high-profile cases before the Russian courts of all levels and arbitral tribunals under ICC, SCC, LCIA and ICAC Rules. Andrey conducts his own advocacy. He also advises Russian clients on proceedings conducted in numerous jurisdictions, including England, Switzerland, Cyprus, Jersey, the British Virgin Islands and the Marshall Islands. He has a wide range of experience in all key aspects of international arbitration and litigation, including enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Russia and abroad and obtaining interim measures from Russian courts in support of foreign proceedings.
He is endorsed by Chambers Europe 2015. Market sources describe him as ‘completely at ease’ on complex cases, while clients appreciate his ‘good preparation and ethical approach’.
Andrey is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a regional representative for LCIA YIAG for Russia and CIS. He regularly publishes articles and speaks at the conferences on various aspects of international commercial arbitration and cross-border litigation.
Andrey graduated with honours from the Law Faculty of the Moscow State University and holds a MJur degree with distinction from the University of Oxford, where he was a Weidenfeld scholar. A native Russian speaker, he is fluent in English and German (spoken).
