Mr Makhmudov has been a managing partner at Legalmax Law Firm since 2003. He has substantial experience working with national companies, as well as foreign and transnational corporations.
He practices such areas of jurisprudence as intellectual property, legal support for international M&A transactions and investment law, legal representation in courts of CIS and foreign arbitration courts.
He is a patent attorney whose professional achievements are recognised by such international rating agencies as Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500.
Mr Makhmudov has provided legal assistance to a number of foreign companies that are recognised as leaders in their industries and that operate in the region, as well as to the national projects carried out by the UN agencies. He rendered legal assistance in the acquisition process of major shares of a chemical enterprise on behalf of a foreign corporation and conducted the process on additional issuance of securities of one of the largest metallurgical holdings in Russia. He is also an expert in legal issues relating to the publishing activity of authoritative economic publications.
Muhammadali is a member of the National Bar Association, the International Union of the Commonwealth Lawyers (Moscow), and an arbiter of the Kazakhstan International Arbitration. He also has a number of articles and publications in national and international business publications. He holds an LLM in financial and tax law, and is a patent attorney.
