US court stays bid to enforce solar award against Spain

A US court has agreed to stay consideration of a Dutch energy company’s bid to enforce a €64.5 million Energy Charter Treaty award against Spain until the conclusion of ICSID annulment proceedings, saying it was reluctant to wade into a “conflict between decades-old treaties and newly minted EU case law.”
