UK judge pauses Malaysian fund’s bid to undo LCIA settlement

An English judge has temporarily stayed an attempt by Malaysian sovereign wealth fund 1MDB to challenge an allegedly fraudulent US$5.8 billion settlement of an LCIA dispute with an Abu Dhabi government-owned entity – ruling that a new arbitration should be allowed to proceed first.
