UK government at odds over Iran arms deal debt

The UK Ministry of Defence has reportedly refused a request by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to pay £400 million to Iran to satisfy an 18-year old ICC award – amid allegations that the payment is a condition for the release of a British-Iranian charity worker imprisoned in Tehran.
