UAE pledges to amend penal code and makes progress towards new law

As Dubai Arbitration Week kicks off, the United Arab Emirates has said it will amend a controversial article of its penal code that says arbitrators can be imprisoned for bias. Meanwhile, the country is slowly moving towards passing its long awaited new arbitration law.
