Tanzania faces ICSID claim after sugar project goes sour

The Swedish investors behind an aborted project in Tanzania to produce sugar for use as renewable fuel have filed an ICSID claim after the east African state revoked the land title for the site amid concerns over the impact on local farmers and a nearby wildlife sanctuary.
