The ICSID Convention and arbitration rules do not contemplate the filing of a request for reconsideration. Neither do the UNCITRAL rules. Yet, in recent years, requests for reconsideration of tribunal decisions and orders have become commonplace in ICSID and UNCITRAL investment arbitrations.
