South Korea award over aborted Daewoo sale upheld in London

The Commercial Court in London has upheld a US$68 million award against South Korea over its termination of a deal for the purchase of the bankrupt Daewoo Group – rejecting arguments the tribunal lacked substantive jurisdiction.
