Ship chartering case belongs in London, not New York or Miami, says 11th Circuit
The way is now clear for arbitration in London
Faced with an ambiguous agreement that included conflicting indications of the parties’ intention in the event of a dispute, a US appeal court has said that a row over the chartering of a vessel from Brazil to Mexico belongs in arbitration in London, not in New York or Miami.
