Second US hedge fund threatens to take South Korea to ICSID over Samsung merger

A second US hedge fund has threatened to pursue South Korea at ICSID for losses caused by its intervention in the merger of two Samsung units – alleging that the state’s actions were motivated by bribery, favouritism to the Lee family which owns Samsung and hostility to foreign investors.
