Russian court weighs into Yukos battle with treaty ruling

Russia’s Constitutional Court has held that the state is not bound by the consent to arbitrate contained in provisionally applicable treaties – a ruling that the government says bolsters its case for setting aside the US$57 billion Yukos awards.
