Russia disputes reports of setback in Crimea case

Russia’s ministry of justice has disputed reports that an UNCITRAL tribunal has refused to reopen findings on jurisdiction and liability in a billion-dollar treaty claim over the seizure of a Ukrainian bank’s assets in Crimea – saying that the panel has in fact agreed to consider arguments that the claimant acquired its assets in the territory illegally.
