Revisions made to ISDS in Korea-US trade deal
After a run of treaty claims against it, South Korea has unveiled revisions to the investor-state dispute settlement clause of its free trade deal with the US – including amendments doing away with the concept of legitimate expectation and prohibiting parallel cases relating to the same alleged measures or arising from the same events.
