Privy Council upholds Mauritian arbitrator’s award, in appeal from Supreme Court

The UK Privy Council has upheld the award of a Mauritian arbitrator even though he “mischaracterised” the nature of a standard-form construction contract, and said that a missing transcript from the hearing did not make the award void under a public order rule.
