Panama corruption scandal prompts ICSID claim

A US engineering company and its CEO have filed an ICSID claim against Panama for, among other things, launching criminal proceedings against them as part of an investigation into alleged corruption by the former president Ricardo Martinelli led by his successor Juan Carlos Varela.
