NAFTA claim sparks witness-tampering complaint

A Mexican telecoms company has sought to subpoena the lawyers representing its majority shareholders in a US$500 million NAFTA claim against Mexico after one of their witnesses allegedly backed out of giving evidence in the arbitration because of threats of retaliation by government officials.
