Morocco hit with second ICSID claim over bankrupt refinery
US private equity group Carlyle has made good on a threat to bring a US$400 million ICSID claim against Morocco over the bankruptcy of the state’s sole oil refinery in the wake of the 2015 crash in global oil prices – the second such claim at the centre.
