Miculas win security but fail to lift stay of enforcement

The Court of Appeal in London has upheld a stay of enforcement of an ICSID award in favour of Swedish businessmen Ioan and Viorel Micula against Romania while the courts of the European Union weigh the award’s compatibility with EU law – but has ordered the state to pay £150 million in security.
