Lawyer threatens US$100 billion treaty claim after Panama court ruling

A lawyer for a subsidiary of a Canadian mining company has warned on television that a Panama Supreme Court judgment that found the law that formed the basis for a concession to be unconstitutional could trigger a treaty claim worth a staggering US$100 billion if it leads to its revocation.
