Lat Am courts clash over gas exports award
A court in Argentina has set aside an award on liability in a US$1.3 billion ICC case arising from the country’s 2004 energy crisis, after holding that the parties’ contract gave it exclusive jurisdiction to hear the challenge even though the arbitration is seated in Uruguay.
