Kyrgyz gold mine dispute on verge of settlement

Canadian mining company Centerra Gold and Kyrgyzstan have announced a proposed settlement of their dispute over a gold mine - which would see Centerra paying state-run charities US$60 million in satisfaction of environmental claims.
