Korean banking group knocks out billion-dollar ICC claim

A Korean banking group has defeated an ICC claim reportedly worth US$1.4 billion brought by US private equity firm Lone Star Funds – which continues to pursue a related multibillion-dollar ICSID claim against the Korean state.
