India loses billion-dollar case over gas migration

India’s Reliance Industries and its foreign partners in an offshore gas block have prevailed in a US$1.7 billion UNCITRAL dispute with the Indian government, which was filed after they were fined for profiting from gas that had allegedly migrated from adjacent state-owned fields.
