ICSID panel halts case against Slovakia
The case concerned the Gemerská Polomka talc mine in eastern Slovakia, one of the most important in the world
In a yet-to-be-published award, an all-French tribunal has declined jurisdiction over ICSID claims brought against Slovakia by Canadian and US investors in a talc mine, with one arbitrator dissenting in relation to when one of the claimants' dispute with the state arose.
