ICSID panel decouples Bangladeshi gas disputes
The dispute concerned unpaid gas deliveries and liability for two blowout incidents
An ICSID tribunal has issued a final award requiring a Bangladeshi state entity to pay Canada’s Niko Resources US$43 million for gas deliveries, decoupling the case from a parallel arbitration it has been hearing for the past decade.
