In a case that began in arbitration, the International Tribunal of the Law of the Sea has determined the maritime boundary between Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire in the Atlantic Ocean and held that Ghana did not violate its neighbour state's sovereign rights by drilling in the disputed area.
