German court rules on nuclear phase-out as Vattenfall award draws near

As Vattenfall awaits the outcome of its Energy Charter Treaty claim against Germany, the country’s federal constitutional court has ruled that a law hastening the phase-out of nuclear power violated the Swedish state-owned company’s rights along with those of two other major energy suppliers.
