Ecuador's claim for Amazon pollution to continue

The ICSID tribunal hearing Perenco's dispute with Ecuador has refused an application by the Bahamian oil company to dismiss the state's US$2.5 billion counterclaim on res judicata grounds, after another tribunal ruled on its liability for environmental damage in a separate case.
