Daewoo spinoff denied chance of late appeal in Arctic rig dispute

A spinoff of South Korea’s Daewoo Group has been denied permission to appeal two London Maritime Arbitrators Association awards rejecting claims of more than US$370 million after the English Commercial Court ruled it was too late.
