Currency conversion triggers claim against Croatia

Croatia has been hit with the first of a potential wave of ICSID claims over legislation adopted last year that seeks to protect borrowers by converting loans and mortgages denominated in Swiss francs to euros – measures similar to those that gave rise to the recent threat of a treaty claim against neighbouring Montenegro.
