Costa Rica faces treaty claim over chicken import ban

A food company and its founder have threatened Costa Rica with a US$200 million ICSID claim over a ban on the import of chicken cuts from Canada and the US among other treaty breaches – which they say have driven the company to the brink of bankruptcy.
