Arbitrators survive Argentine challenge

Chilean arbitrator Francisco Orrego Vicuña and Mexico’s Claus von Wobeser have survived challenges from Argentina in the ICSID case brought by Spanish oil company Repsol – with the published decision showing that the state raised objections related to Orrego Vicuña’s work for the regime of Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet in the 1980s.
