Bin Hammam escapes ban – but not affirmed innocent

A Court of Arbitration for Sport tribunal consisting of José Maria Alonso, Philippe Sands QC and Romano Subiotto QC was responsible for yesterday’s decision to lift a lifetime ban from football imposed by FIFA on Qatari football official Mohammed Bin Hamman.
