Since 2012, Simone Burlet-Fuchs has been an associate in Bär & Karrer’s arbitration practice group in Zurich. Her work focuses on national and cross-border arbitration and litigation. She represents Swiss and foreign individuals and entities before Swiss courts of all levels and acts as party counsel in international arbitration.
She graduated from the University of Lucerne in 2007 (MLaw). During her studies, Simone worked as a research assistance with Professor Daniel Girsberger, where she was mainly active in the field of international arbitration. From 2007 to 2011, she was a trainee at a Swiss Law Firm in Zurich as well as a law clerk at the District Court of Horgen. Simone was admitted to the Bar in 2011. In 2013–2014 she obtained an LLM degree from King’s College London.
Simone is a member of the Zurich and Swiss Bar Association, of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) and ASA below 40.
