David Kim is a senior foreign attorney and partner at Shin & Kim and a member of the firm’s International Dispute Resolution Practice Group.
Mr Kim has extensive experience in international arbitration and has acted as counsel in arbitration cases before the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB), ICC, SIAC, HKIAC and LCIA, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations under the UNCITRAL rules. He is also an adjunct professor at the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea, a board member of the Council for International Arbitration of the KCAB and a sessional lecturer at the KCAB. Mr Kim is board member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Korea and is also actively involved in the Young ICCA Mentorship Programme.
Prior to joining Shin & Kim in 2008, Mr Kim practised at Miles Davison LLP in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian and Calgary Bar Associations. He is a native English speaker and is fluent in Korean.Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
